Hi!

My name is Amy Peach. I am an undergraduate geology student and a volunteer for The Queen Elizabeth Parks Twinning Project.

I live in the UK and I love the outdoors and all things to do with the Earth. I’m always up for an adventure and enjoy travelling. I am currently studying for a MGeol Geology degree at a university in southern England.

I volunteer with the Queen Elizabeth Parks Twinning Project, which twins QE National Park in Uganda with QE Country Park in the UK. In 2013 I was lucky enough to visit Uganda and I returned in 2015 as part of a team facilitating a customer care and environmental interpretation course for rangers . I am also working with the project on a new initiative to develop geological tourism in Uganda’s Albertine Rift Valley. Please check out Geomission Uganda for more information.

My posts are usually on geology/university life/environment topics as well as my experiences with the QE Parks Twinning Project. I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures!

Thank you for reading my blog!
